Our nature has given us a lot of things.
These things are known as resources.
Each resource is used for various purposes.
Come with us and let's read about them.

Natural Resources

Natural resources occur naturally within environments. These natural resources are used to
produce energy. For instance, we use solar energy, energy from water to produce electricity is
called hydro-electric power and wind energy etc. Some of the resources we use to produce energy
are renewable while others are non-renewable. There are two types of resources available. They
are Renewable resources and Non-renewable resources.

Note for the Teacher

Discuss in the class about the natural resources and its uses. Tell them that how important they are for us
and why do we need them to survive. Also discuss with them about renewable and non-renewable
resources. Encourage them to save the natural resources so that they can be made available for future use.
