Maharashtra                                               Nagpur

Maharashtra is the world's second-most populous
sub-national entity. It is situated in the western
peninsular part of India. Mumbai is the capital of this
state. In the coastal regions of Mumbai large deposits
of oil and gas are present. The important cities of this
state are Nagpur, Pune and Sholapur. Maharashtra is
famous for various industries, business, agriculture and
film industry.

Goa

                                 Goa is a state located in the West India region of the
                                 Konkan. It is the smallest state of India. This state is
                                 famous for its beaches, monuments, old churches,
                                 museums and temples. Panaji is the capital of this
                                 state.

Karnataka

Karnataka lies in the Deccan Plateau. Its part            Hydroelectric plant in Karnataka
lies on the Konkan Coast. Bengaluru is the
capital of this state. There is abundance of
hydroelectric power and extensive forests in
this state. Mangalore is an important seaport in
this state. Silver, gold and coffee is found in
abundance in this state.

Kerala

           Backwaters of Kerala                   Kerala lies on Malabar Coast in India.
                                                  Thiruvananthapuram is the capital of this
                                                  state. Kochi and Kozhikode are two
                                                  important cities of this state. It is famous for
                                                  lush green forests and backwaters. The
                                                  highest peak of peninsular India, Anai Peak,
                                                  is located in this state.
