West Bengal is a state which is located in eastern
India. The state extends from Bay of Bengal in
the south to the Himalayan mountain ranges in
the north. The plains of West Bengal are made
by two rivers Ganga and Brahmaputra. Rice and
jute are the main crops grown in this state.
