We know that plants are living things. Like humans and animals, plants can also
reproduce. They reproduce to generate their own kind and increase in number. There
are different ways in which plants reproduce. Let's read to know more about them.
Plants Reproductive System
There are various plants grow in the world. They reproduce in different ways like:
seeds stems roots
leaves spores
Planting From Seeds
Most of the plants bear fruits. Inside the fruit are
seeds. Some fruits have many seeds such as papaya
and watermelon while some have only one seed
such as mango, litchi etc. These seeds when get right
condition, that is, enough water, air and warmth,
grow into new plants called seedlings. The growth of
new plant from the seed is known as germination.
