Plants that Reproduce from Spores

Spores are the reproductive structure of the lower plants. Plants
which do not have reproductive parts like flower etc. produce tiny
spores. Each of these spores can grow into a new plant. For
example, mushroom and mosses reproduce trough spores.

Importance of Agriculture

We mostly depend on plants for our food. We get vegetables, grains, fruits, pulses,
sugar, tea, etc. from plants. Besides these, we also get cotton and jute from plants. To
get these thing, the plants are grown on a large scale. The practice of growing plants
on a large scale for food and other purposes is known as agriculture. The various
stages of agriculture are as follows–

                                                                       Explosion

 Ploughing Manuring Seed sowing
To losen soil To add nutrients in the soil Starting crop production

      Irrigation Pesticides spraying Harvesting
Watering the plants Killing pests and rodents Cutting ripen crops and

                                                           gathering them

Different Crops

Plants of same kind grown at a particular region at a
particular time are known as crops. Crops can be
vegetables, cereals pulses or beverages.
