QBASIC Editor menu bar

Look at the QBasic editor. It has got
the following things on it.

menu bar
scroll bars
status bar

Menu In QBasic Editor
The menu bar is present at the upper side of the QBasic editor.

It has the following option:

File Edit View Search

Run Debug Option Help

FILE Menu

File menu is the first menu of the menu bar.

It is the following options: New
Open

Save

Save As
Print

New Exit

Press Alt + F key combination, to open the file menu.

Choose New Option and press Enter key. You can also press the highlighted letter of New

which is N. This opens a new file.

Open

It is used to open a program which is already

saved in the computer.

To open a program, follow the given steps:

Step 1: Open File menu by pressing Alt + F

keys combination. You can also use

the mouse.

Step 2: Choose Open option and press the

Enter key. An Open dialog box appears

as shown here.

Step 3: Type name of an existing file in the File

Name option.

Step 4: Press the Enter key. It opens the file.
