Shrubs

Shrubs are woody plants but smaller than trees. They
also have a stem with many branches. Rose, hibiscus,
cotton and tulsi are some good examples of shrubs.

               Herbs                                             Rose Plant

               Herbs are small and seasonal plants. They have soft
               and weak stems. Herbs include, mint, coriander,
               spinach etc.

Mint Plant            Basil is one of the great culinary herbs.

Climbers

Climbers are soft and thin plants. They are long and have
weak stems. Climbers need support of other plants or
wall to grow well. The examples of climbers are money
plant and grapevine.

               Creepers                                          Grape Wine

Pumpkin plant  Creepers have weak stems. They do not climb
               unlike climbers. They grow along the ground.
               They include pumpkin, watermelon and bottle
               gourd.

   Collect pictures of each type of plant you have learnt here and paste them in your
   scrapbook. Also label the pictures.
