Activity 4
Take a deflated balloon and observe its shape. Now fill air in the same
balloon. Then observe its shape again. What changes do you observe?
You will observe that the balloon has changed its shape. You will also
notice that the empty space of the deflated balloon also gets filled with
air. This shows that air takes up space. It also gives shape to the things.

Is there air in an empty box?

Keeping The Air Clean

 Polluted air is harmful to all living things so we

   should keep the air clean.
 We should plant more and more trees to make

   our air clean and fresh.
 We should not cut trees as they keep air clean.

  Let’s
          Revise

 Air is all around us.
 Air contains water vapours and dust particles.
 Air has weight and fills space.
 Plant more and more trees to keep our air fresh and clean.
