3. Water Transport - All vehicles that move in water are called water
transport. Water transport is basically used for shipping heavy goods.

All these are modes of transport. Transport has become a basic need
of human life. It helps to travel from one place to another.

Key Words

Transport: To carry from one place to another.
Vehicle: A conveyance moving on wheels.
Steamer: A ship which moves on water by steam.
Submarine: A ship that can be submerged and navigated
underwater.

I have learnt that

 transport helps us to go from one place to another.
 land transport, air transport and water transport are three

different modes of transport.
 land transport is divided into two parts: roadways and

railways.
