We can travel from one place to another by using different types of
transports. Examples of transports are bus, car, motorcycle, auto-
rickshaw, train, aeroplane, ship, etc.

bullock-cart are used in villages.
Different Modes of Transport
1. Land Transport - All vehicles that move on land and roads are
called land transport. Land transport is divided into two parts-
roadways and railways.

2. Air Transport - All vehicles that fly in the sky are called air transport.
Air transport is a very fast mode of transport.
