A moving object make kinetic energy, for example, aircrafts. The energy produced by a
body due to its position is known as potential energy, for example, water stored in a
dam possesses potential energy. The combination of potential and kinetic energy is
called mechanical energy. For example, ceiling fan moves due to mechanical energy.
Burning fuels generate heat energy or light energy that is used in vehicles, to cook
food etc. The energy that we get from the electricity like in washing machine, mixer
juicer etc, is called as electrical energy.
