We have seen many tall building in cities.
These tall buildings are known as flats. They
are also known as apartments. Flats have
many houses at different floors.

Bungalows
Bungalows are big houses that are
built over a large area. They are
found on the outskirts of cities and
towns.

Different Types of Roofs

A roof is a structure, covering of the top of a house or building. The roofs of a
house may be flat or sloping. The roofs are built according to the climate of
the place. People who live in plains usually have flat roofs. People who live in
areas of heavy rainfall built stilts with sloping roofs. The stilts help the
houses not to get damaged because of rain. People who live in mountains
and snowy area built sloping roofs. It helps the snow to fall off easily from
the roofs.
