Chapter 15

The external form and outline of something is known as its shape.
We see different things around us. They all have a shape.
Shapes can be different.

Circle - A round figure whose boundary consists of
points equidistant from a fixed point (centre) is
known as a circle.

                   Triangle - A figure with three straight sides and
                   three angles is known as a triangle.

     Triangle

Rectangle - A figure with four straight sides
and four right angles is known as a rectangle.

                       Rectangle

            Square - A figure with four equal straight sides
            and four right angles is known as a square.
